The collections in London are continuation of New York’s new sporty silhouette and sequel of Spring 2011′s kaleidoscopic prints.
The Good Sport
The voluminous new silhouette introduced by New York’s designers found its way onto London’s runways. The boxy-top-vs-lanky-bottom silhouette is no longer only for football players. It is now also for the fashion warriors. Maybe this is a way for London designers to embrace the coming summer Olympics. In that case, we have no doubt that quarter backs have already snatched the fashion medal.

Conversation Pants
Wedding ring is the original conversation piece, and then comes the handbag and the shoes. London designers showed us that the long-deemed-ignorable pants could also make great conversation pieces with slightly-cropped hems, perfectly clingy fit, dazzling prints and right amount of shimmer.

Layering Prints
We have never seen so much hallucinogenic prints for fall and winter, but we are loving the playfulness and optimism message inside. Designers layer and mismatch contrasting prints together (floral on floral, check on hoodstooth, geometric on stripes, etc). This unconventional touch give the familiar prints a new feeling.
